OUR STUDENTS!
And the community of Alexandria
Welcome To Our Family Dojo!
The Larry Davenport Karate Studio has been at the same location for over twenty one years. Our students come from all over Madison County. We believe it is our responsibility to help them develop those essential leadership qualities they will need to have a full and more productive life.
Respect, Discipline, and Control are at the heart of everything we do. Developing coordination and improving concentration are part of our training. Confidence and Self-Esteem are achieved by learning to set and reach realistic goals. Physical Fitness and Self-Defense are also an important factor. After all, a strong body and a sound mind is a winning combination.
We try to stay active in the Community and will be involved in several different events in 2008.

Ron St. Clair works with Logan. Learning to teach others is a part of our advanced training. To teach, is to learn twice.

Pictured Below, Are the active Yudansha (LDKS Blacks Belts) getting ready to take a very serious picture at the 2008 Yudansha Gathering, January 19. This event is for the Black Belts and their Families. Standing to Shihan Larry Davenport’s left are long time Friends Sensei Fred McKinley and Sensei Tom Everett. Please excuse Shihan Davenport and Sensei Everett, they just got a little out of focus, that’s all.
We certainly take our training serious, but sometimes
We Just Have fun!!!
Katelynn Gossage had a very boring report card. She got straight A’s. Great job Katelynn! She now proudly wears our academic achievement patch. She is also a great karate student, but of course.
